New Acer Veriton Business Desktops offer enhanced productivity

Business users are now offered a wide range of options of business desktop PCs to choose from, highlighting a new design with improved serviceability and usability.

Acer America announces three new business desktops, expanding the popular Veriton series. Comprising of the Veriton M265, the Veriton M421G and the Veriton M670G, the reliable computers incorporate an intuitive layout and leading technologies to enhance the overall performance.

These models eliminate the worry of over-heating as they come with open air vents for advanced ventilation. They are outfitted with a hinged/cable-less front bezel and a new modular design layout for easy access and upgradation. Users will also find various I/O ports imbued on the front and top of the PCs for convenient access. All the three machines even come with Acer’s One-Button Recovery (OBR) function that addresses the issues of back up and restoration of data.

From a more efficient design that improves serviceability to the easily accessible ports and our One Button Recovery capability, the new Veriton desktops combine great technology and user-friendly features for a tremendous value,” said Leila Axelle Robert, Acer Desktop Business Manager.

First in the list is the Veriton M265-ED2220C model, it is powered by the Intel Pentium Dual-Core Processor E2220 and features the Intel G31 Express chipset, Windows Vista Business with XPP downgrade (dual load), 2GB DDR2 SDRAM, 160GB SATA hard drive, SuperMulti with Labelflash Technology and Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3100. It has one PCI Express 2.0 x1, one PCI Express 2.0 x 16 and two PCI v2.3 (5V) slots as well. Price wise, it costs about $419 (approx. Rs. 20,830).

Another model in the Acer Veriton M265 range is the Veriton M265-BE1400C that shares all the features of the above mentioned desktop PC. The only difference is the integration of Intel Celeron Dual-Core Processor E14000 CPU. Moreover, it comes bundled with a 19–inch wide-screen TFT LCD. The PC retails for $499 (approx. Rs. 24,805) onwards.

Second is the Veriton M421G-ED5000C desktop PC that runs on AMD Athlon X2 Dual-Core processor, AMD 780G chipset, discrete ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics card and Windows Vista Business with XPP downgrade (dual load). Rest of the features are similar to the Veriton M265 business range. It has a starting price of $439 (approx. Rs. 21,820).

Coming to the next high-end iteration, the Acer Veriton M670G-UQ9400C works on Intel’s Core 2 Quad Q9400 processor, Intel Q45 Express chipset and Windows Vista Business + XPP Downgrade. Other specifications of this business desktop PC are 3GB DDR3 memory, 320GB SATA hard drive, discrete ATI Radeon HD 4350 PRO (512MB VRAM), SuperMulti with Labelflash Technology and PCI support. It is priced at $899 (approx. Rs. 44,690) and above.

These newly designed Acer Veriton business desktop PCs are now available for purchase in the North American market though Acer authorized resellers.
