eMachine unveils EL1300 series desktop PC
eMachine has now introduced a series of desktop PCs dubbed EL1300. This series claims to provide power packed performance along with user-friendly features, all-white radiant design and green LED light. It has been designed to flawlessly portray style.
A widescreen monitor complements this white beauty to provide high definition picture quality and innovative technology. These small and compact desktop PCs are capable of competing with the traditional PC in functionalities and capabilities.
“Alternative color choices have been making their way into notebook lines for some time now,” said Glenn Jystad, senior manager, desktop products, eMachines. “With the arrival of spring and summer, it’s the perfect time to introduce a fresh, clean alternative color choice to our desktops and monitors, bringing an exciting new look and feel to desktop PCs.”
This space saving EL1300 series is lightweight and fits almost anywhere. Measuring 10.7 inches (H), 4.2 inches (W) and 15 inches (L), it complements any room in which it is placed. The device also includes easy access front ports and support for wireless networks and TV tuner.
“The amount of thought and effort put into the aesthetics and new design features of the new desktops and monitors is significant,” said Jystad. “The price and capabilities are right on target, and the sleek ultra-modern design offers more style than many PCs costing twice as much.”
The key features of the EL1300 series include AMD Athlon 2650e 1.6GHz processor, NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE integrated graphics card, 160GB SATA hard drive, 18x DVD+/-R/RW SuperMulti drive, multi-in-one digital media card reader, PS/2 multi-function keyboard and more.
The EL1300 series includes two models namely EL1300G-01w and EL1300G-02w, which slightly vary in their features. The EL1300G-01w comes with 2GB DDR2 memory and supports Microsoft Vista Home Basic while the EL1300G-02w comes embedded with 1GB DDR2 memory and supports Microsoft Windows XP Home with SP3. Both these models are Energy Star Compliant. The EL1300G-02w comes with 20-inch widescreen LCD with built-in speakers while the EL1300G-01w features USB powered stereo speakers.
The EL1300 series will be available for purchase this month, the EL1300G-01wat is priced at $298 (approx Rs.14, 070) while the EL1300G-02w is priced at $398 (approx Rs.18, 792).
