CyberPower reveals Core i5 and i7 based gaming rigs

CyberPower Gaming Rigs

Just last month CyberPower released three high-performance gaming desktop PCs and now the company is back with gaming rigs. These rigs offer support for Intel’s latest Core i5 and i7 processors, reports Engadget. They also support Intel’s P55 chipset. So now users can customize their own Core i5 or i7 based gaming PC and take full advantage of the processors’ overclocking features.

The company will initially offer five new models of the Gamer Xtreme 1000 to 5000 series. All these models will feature Intel’s LGA 1156 Core i5 or i7 processor. Users can also choose their CPU from Intel Core i5 750 (2.66GHz), i7 860 (2.80 GHz), and i7 870 (2.93 GHz) CPUs. As for the motherboard, users can choose P55 based devices from brands like Gigabyte, Asus, EVGA, and MSI.

The P55 chipset combines with the Core i5/i7 processors to provide exceptional performance. The Core i5 features advanced features like Intel’s Turbo Boost Technology and integrated dual channel DDR3 memory controller.

Apparently, CyberPower will offer a free Windows 7 upgrade coupon with the purchase of select Windows Vista operating system installed rigs. The rigs will be made available via the company’s official website and other e-retailers. These high-end gaming PCs will be price tagged at $749 (approx. Rs. 36,226).
