Packard Bell unveils its new ipower X2.0 gaming machine at the Electronic Sports World Cup in Paris. Targeting gamers, ipower X2.0 features Intel Quad Core Extreme processors, high-end GPUs (Nvidia GeForce 9800X3 or ATI Tadeon HD4870), storage capacity from 500 GB to 3 TB, E-SATA expansion, a Blu-ray disc drive, a 21-in-1 media card reader, 7.1 audio support and a hybrid TV tuner.

The chassis of the ipower X2.0 gaming desktop has been specially designed for high performance gaming. Gamers often face the overheating problem, which has been taken care of in the ipower desktop. The chassis has three 120mm fans with acute power management which allow optimal airflow. It is equipped with Asetek liquid cooling system which provides a low noise footprint and efficient heat dispersion. The chassis of the ipower is definitely one of its outstanding features, sporting a translucent sliding with red LED lightings. The remaining part of tower is black with glossy finish.

The Packard Bell ipower X2.0 allows you to modify the PC instantly with its tool-less entry. You can change its components very easily. The desktop can be opened with a turn of handle and locked using a special key. The connectors at the top of the tower let you connect gaming peripherals easily. It allows the gamers to choose the configuration depending on their budget. They can decide between Intel Core 2 Quad or Intel Core 2 Extreme processors, 500GB to 3TB storage capacity etc.

The ipower X2.0 desktop offers Norton Internet Security 2008, Adobe Photoshop Elements 6, Microsoft Works 9, Packard Bell Premium Deluxe Pack of software and includes games like EA Need For Speed ProStreet, EA Crysis and Konami PES 2008.

The Packard Bell ipower X2.0 gaming desktop is said to hit the European markets in December and is expected to be priced between €999 and €1799.
