Gateway One PC Launched

Gateway One PC

Gateway has introduced one of the industry’s slimmest and most stylish computers called the Gateway One. Looking at its elegant and slim look, it surely can be compared with Apple’s iMac.

Talking about the new design Gary Elsasser, Gateway’s senior vice president of products said, “Gateway One exemplifies the idea of simplicity, of less is more. This computer complements its environment and becomes a design element you want to show off as much as you want to use. Because it doesn’t compromise on features or performance, it will be appreciated for its brains as well as its beauty.”

The Gateway One features Intel’s dual-core technology that allows users to run multiple applications more smoothly. The One comes with a 19-inch widescreen display to view HD quality videos.

Gateway claims that PC’s front polished surface is the most innovative feature in the Gateway One. This front polished surface incorporates a hidden speaker, which delivers high-fidelity audio.

The new desktop from Gateway incorporates USB 2.0 ports as well. Windows Vista expands the entertainment capabilities with the help of a Media Center remote control.

There are two configurations available in Gateway One:
The $1,299.99 (approx Rs. 51,660) configuration includes an Intel Core 2 Duo T5250 dual-core processor; Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100; 320GB SATA II hard drive and a 1.3 megapixel webcam.

The $1,799.99 (approx Rs. 71,490) configuration includes an Intel Core 2 Duo T7250 dual-core processor; ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600 XT graphics; 500GB SATA II hard drive and a 1.3 megapixel webcam and an analog/digital TV tuner.
